About the Business

Beretta Café and Pizza Bar is fast growing café business in Ramsgate Beach serving quality food and beverage to the local customer. We are looking for the self-motivated and organized person able to work both autonomously and within the team.

Job Title: Accountant

Position: Full-Time Permanent

Location: 211 Ramsgate Rd, Ramsgate Beach, NSW

Salary: $65000 Annual

About the Role

As an Accountant, you will be providing support with the current and future workloads and responsible for the organization’s financial administration, financial reporting and providing professional assistance and support to the Director.

You will have responsibility for the following:

• Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
• Preparing financial statements for presentation to management and governing and statutory bodies
• Preparing reports and advising on business matters and taxation
• Examining operating cost and business income and expenditure
• Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
• Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations
• Preparing tax return for individuals and organization
• Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems
• Maintaining internal control system

Skills and experience

• Must have experience with online ordering system and payment portal such as Uber, Menu log, Deliveroo.
• Must have experience with POS integration
• Must have experience in payroll (STP)
• Must have experience with price adjustment and customer billing enquires.
• Must have excellent negotiation skills
• Must have experience in processing and payment of invoices.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Bachelor of Accounting or similar
• High level numerical, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Sound knowledge of accounting system and computer concepts and programs.
• Studying towards, or eligibility and willingness to study, Certified Practicing Accountant status (CPA Australia)
