Full time & part time temp opportunities for experienced Administration Officers within NSW State Government, ASAP start in Gosford

  • $32-$40 per hour + Super, depending on experience | 3 days, 21hours per week

Our NSW State Government client regulates motor accidents CTP insurance, workers compensation insurance and the home building compensation scheme in NSW. They are currently seeking an Administration Officer to join their team in Gosford. This is a part time opportunity working 3 days / 21hours per week for an estimated 12month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to deliver a wide range of administrative and business support services along with delivering high quality customer service providing information to facilitate achieving Departmental objectives

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties –

  • Provide high level, professional customer service via telephone, face to face or in writing
  • Respond to customer inquiries within a timely and accurate manner
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Gather and collate information to support informed decision making outcomes
  • Preparation of high level documentation including briefs, correspondence, presentation material and reports
  • Provide project support services, tracking and monitoring progress, milestones and issues
  • Records and database management, ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following –

  • Previous Administration or Business support experience
  • Public Sector experience highly desirable
  • Professional, Resilient and confident with a customer service delivery focus
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
