About us

NSW TrainLink is a multi-mode transport provider connecting communities across NSW. The opportunity

Right now, big things are happening in NSW TrainLink. There’s unprecedented investment in integrated transport as we deliver against a long term transformation blueprint which positions us to deliver even better outcomes for communities across NSW.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Customer Service Manager Level 2 to join the NSW TrainLink team at Taree. Reporting to the Area Manager Hunter & Regional North, North & Central Region, you’ll be leading a regional transport hub and stations at assigned locations with a geographically dispersed cross-functional team, including station staff and Regional Drivers. The environment is typically driven by a demanding customer, operational and stakeholder interface; with an emphasis on the safe and efficient delivery of transport services for NSW TrainLink.

This is a hands-on role requiring a dynamic, experienced and energetic people leader who will be responsible for the management of assigned locations and related facilities, allocated budget, as well as assets and business processes which are integral to operations and a quality service to customers and stakeholders alike.

Your stakeholder engagement, organisation and problem solving skills will be in high demand and you’ll be well positioned to lead and develop cross functional team capability through coaching and mentoring staff, and encouraging development and continuous learning to achieve better business outcomes.

You’ll be extremely resilient; comfortable with working within the challenges involved in workplace consultation in a complex safety and industrial environment, overcoming resistance to change.

You’ll be excited about developing your own skills and capabilities in a leading public service agency and most importantly, you are motivated by a desire to make a real difference, for our people in NSW TrainLink.
