The Role

This is a customer first and people focused role with some operational accountability. As Assistant Store Manager at our Bourke St, Melbourne CBD store you will be responsible for supporting our Store Manager with the leading, coaching and motivating the team of Optical, Retail and Clinical Professionals. A key part of the role will be assisting in coaching and developing the team to ensure our customers receive a best in class service whilst focusing on exceeding store profit and targets.

This position will be offered as permanent full time working 38 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm.

Your Background

You are active in your approach, passionate about your service delivery and driven to achieve great results. You can demonstrate:

• Experience or understanding of the day to day operations of an optical practice - required

• Passion for up to date trends and flair for fashion

• Willingness to assist customers with appropriate frame selection - making lens recommendations

• Pride in product and store by maintaining our high standards promoting our professional image

• Ability to work towards achieving store sales target with promoting campaigns and special offers
