What you will be responsible for: Working with key members of the Better Business team, the role will deliver on program priorities, challenging current practices and bringing curiosity and contemporary thinking to strategic and operational issues. Supporting the successful implementation of the Agency’s People Strategy including its capability and knowledge build across Tourism Tasmania and culture-related initiatives Researching, recommending and implementing business improvement initiatives that deliver efficiencies and enable the effective delivery of the Better Business program Contribute to system and process design, suggest ideas that challenge the status quo and support a better employee experience across the Agency What you’ll work on: Work with the Organisational Development Manager on the development and implementation of contemporary people management initiatives that contribute to the employee experience and culture of the Agency. Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of existing business processes and practices including the investigation and solution design for operational processes and/or queries. Research and recommend system and business improvement initiatives and technologies that support the productivity of staff, contribute to a positive employee experience and increased organisational capability. Research, prepare and review policies, procedures and guidelines. Develop and maintain systems to support the timely and accurate recording of information and provide related management reporting. Analyse data and documentation, prepare project briefs and reports that relate to Better Business Programs Period of Appointment: This is a fixed-term full-time appointment for 3 years.
