HEAVY VEHCILE DRIVERS WANTED FOR IMMEDIATE START! GREAT OPPORTUNITY WITH FLEXIBLE HOURS!!!!

If you are a Heavy Vehicle licenced driver, looking for flexible hours with the opportunity to work locally then...we are looking for you to join our team! We are currently looking for self-motivated individuals to join our growing Service Delivery team as Bus Drivers at our Wauchope depot.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals that are looking for a career opportunity in being able to work within a local community and family-oriented environment within the public transport industry.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Driving allocated vehicles along specified routes as directed, ensuring the care, safety and comfort of Busways customers
• Working shifts and rosters as directed
• Maintaining strong customer service skills across all interactions with the public

Candidates without heavy vehicle drivingexperience that are interested in becoming a Bus Driver or would like further information are encouraged to apply.

Please note all drivers commenceon a casual basis. Permanent lines of work may be offered after being employed for a certain period of time, however, is dependent upon the requirements of the depot and region that we operate within.

The successful candidates must have:

• Good communication skills
• Passion for customer service and dealing with people
• Good RMS driving history
• Ability and confidence to work autonomously
• Minimum MR class drivers licence, Drivers Authority and Working with Children Clearance (or the ability to obtain)

Busways can provide ongoing training and support to successful candidates to assist in meeting operational standards. On the job training will be provided via our Driver Mentors and the Learning & Development Team!
