The role - Primary Care Nurses- Lara Sites /Region.
Welcoming Primary Care Nurses to join or casual pool who are available at short notice of same day or few advance hours and looking for variety of working centres. The work may go up to 4 weeks with a high possibility of extension and ongoing work. This Casual pool staff will have guaranteed hours daily upto 4 weeks provided flexibility and readiness to work at different site as and when required. They may get the site location for the day at a short notice based on the gaps.

2 X Primary Care Nurses – 1 Morning Shift & 1 Afternoon Shift or flexible to work 8 hour shifts on a 7 day rotating roster, with the earliest shift starting at 05:30 and the latest shift finish time would be 20:30.

These Nurses should be flexible/open to work at following centres on a need basis.

  • Marngoneet Correctional Centre
  • HM Prison Barwon
  • Kareeenga Prison

Essential experience and attributes include the following (selection criteria):

  • Registered General Nurse Qualification
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • A minimum of one-year full time post graduate nursing experience
  • Recent nursing experience in an acute and/or primary healthcare setting
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills
