Find out more about us at Aruma About Children’s Services: Children’s Services at Aruma have opportunities to support young people aged between 5 and 17 years living in residential out of home care with us who have experienced trauma and have a disability. About the Role: A Children’s Service Leader is responsible for the everyday support, coordination and operation of their assigned services. The provide leadership and coaching of services’ support staff. The Children’s Service Leader, leads a team of Support Workers in the support of children and young people engaged and/or living in our services. They ensure high quality support is provided to the children and young people and routines and processes are embedded consistently and effectively across services. The Children’s Service Leader focus is to engaged with Support Workers and guide trauma informed and therapeutic supports to children and young people and ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved. High level communication, influencing, liaison and negotiation skills. Strong project administrative skills; time management, coordination of tasks, efficient work practices Excellent computer literacy and confidence and capability in using systems and technology Obtain and maintain Licensed Care Service Check (LCS QLD) Obtain and maintain NDIS Worker Screening Check Obtain and maintain relevant state Working with Children Check Obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certificate Complete Hope and Healing Modules (QLD) Obtain and maintain all relevant vaccinations (including COVID-19 for new employees) Current Australian Class 1 Drivers Licence Our success depends on YOU.
