About the Opportunity

The Communications and Engagement Advisor is accountable for supporting the development and delivery of Community and Stakeholder Communications and Engagement plans to support Transport initiatives in Rural and Regional Victoria. They will utilise their verbal and written communication skills to guide and shape conversations with the broader Regional community.

About You

  • Experience in communications, stakeholder relations or community engagement with a demonstrated ability to prepare and implement plans in these areas.
  • Ability to identify reputational and communications issues and risks as they emerge and escalate to management.
  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and project tasks to ensure project milestones are achieved and deadlines met.
  • Well-developed written skills, especially in writing and presenting information that will be subject to public scrutiny.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project partners and senior advisors to achieve communications goals and objectives.
