About Us:
Our Freight Branch, part of the Customer Strategy and Technology Division, lead and coordinate the safe, productive and sustainable movement of goods in and through NSW.
The Freight Customer Engagement & Delivery is responsible for overseeing internal and external freight communications and pursuing a clear and credible freight narrative across TfNSW projects, articulating consistent messaging about the safety, productivity and sustainability benefits of integrating freight into transport planning, delivery and operations.
The team also leads the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans and management of the stakeholder program of work, to ensure stakeholder engagement informs and promotes the identification and delivery of improved freight outcomes for stakeholders, customers and communities across TfNSW.
The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Communications and Engagement Officer to join the team.
The role will lead the development and delivery of a full range of internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement services and programs in order to give freight a voice internally, and promote its relevance.
On a day to day basis you will play a key role in supporting the Freight Branch leadership team on creating and managing corporate communications, create presentations, manage staff engagement campaigns, manage freight communications on the Intranet and manage internal branch messaging.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to gather, analyse and present complex information and identify and respond to risks effectively to achieve business outcomes and give freight a voice across TfNSW.
You will have the ability to develop engaging content, have a proactive approach and excellent stakeholder management skills. Relationship building skills are essential as well as a tenacious and resilient can-do attitude.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 7 ($103,965 - $116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
