Your new company
Our client is a North-Brisbane based public sector authority. They are looking to engage a development compliance officer within their development services unit to help with leading the facilitation of compliance of development.

Your new role
In your new role you will be assisting in the facilitation of development compliance along with coordinating the process. The role entails supporting frontline stakeholder management where you will be consulting activities in order to support the program. You will also be supporting the implementation of policies, procedures, and performance measure. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of reports and correspondence where required.

What you’ll need to succeed
The client is looking for a candidate who has knowledge of the building and development legislation in Queensland. You will demonstrate the strong written and verbal communication along with the ability to facilitate compliance. They are looking for a candidate who is also aware of the principles and practises relating to development compliance investigation and the Adopted Infrastructure Charge Resolution. They have indicated that you will need a General Induction White Card and a diploma in either statutory planning or building certification.

What you’ll get in return
They client is offering an initial 9-month contract with the possibility to extend further. They have suggested an hourly ate between $40 -45 per hour plus super.
