UGM are currently seeking Experienced Underground Operators, Fitters, Electricians and Deputies for roles in the Illawarra area.

For over 22 years UGM has continued to grow through the delivery of quality, safe and efficient services for Australia’s coal industry, ranging from coal production, conveyors, secondary support, ventilation, longwall relocation, diesel and electrical service and supplementary labour hire.

UGM are currently seeking applications from experienced Underground Operators, Fitters, Electricians and Deputies for available positions in the Illawarra area. Candidates must have sound experience in Underground Operations and have an absolute commitment to safety and performance outcomes.

To be successful in these roles Trades must have the following qualifications:
Electrician: Supervisors/Contractors licence an EEHA
Fitters: DES and Hydraulics 1 and 2

Current Coal Board Medical and Mines Rescue Refresher Training preferred - not essential
