Casual Recruitment Assistant/HR Administrator for staff recruitment, volunteers program & HR operations in the events industry.

About the Role…

We are seeking a super enthusiasticHuman Resources Assistantto assist the HR team will all aspects of the HR function.

From November through to April, the HR team is focused on high volume recruitment and onboarding of contract and casual staff, as well as the procurement of 600+ volunteers for the Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES)... and wait for it! You get to be involved in the Volunteers Event operations for the SRES.

If you are seeking experience in HR, here is your opportunity.

We require a high level of flexibility around the demands of the events industry, so working weekends and public holidays during the SRES period and other event times are part of the deal for this role.

You will have...

  • Tertiary education in Human Resources, or still studying
  • 2 years experience in recruitment preferable
  • A ’yes I can’ attitude
  • Willingness to work event-based hours
  • A reasonable understanding of MS Office
  • And we will teach you the rest!!

This role requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to be obtained at your own expense.
