The Opportunity:

Several exciting opportunities are now available for HV Electricians to join our team based out of Mackay.

The purpose of each role is to carry out maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment and ensure excellent customer service at various mine sites.

Positions available:

• Field Service positions
• Site based roles - (EDT) Electric Dump Trucks experience required - even time rosters

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the team in the planning of maintenance schedules and workload by engaging in positive communication
• Supply practical technical expertise and assistance to minimise equipment down time
• Liaise with relevant personnel to ensure all required policies, procedures and resources are available prior to carrying out planned work
• Carry out downloads and analysis of on board computer systems
• Provide a high quality standard of work and diagnosis by using the workshop manual
• Provide well written service reports covering complaint, cause and correction

The knowledge, skills, and abilities we’re looking for:

• Electrical trade qualification
• QLD Electrical License
• HV Switching Ticket
• Current Driver’s license and driver history report
• Knowledge and understanding of OEM Equipment such as KOMATSU, CAT, LIEBHERR and/or HITACHI
• A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised and in remote areas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
