Your new company
Our client is a respectable not-for-profit client based in Bendigo. They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic ICT Admin to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Your new role
This organization has implemented the first stage of a cloud-first ICT strategy. They are about to embark on the second stage and are expanding this to an ICT provision that enables place-paced programming and work-anywhere, work-any-way. Overlapping this is consolidation and integration of systems, document management systems, databases, and interdependencies between all of these.

The ICT Administrator will be an ICT technical expert and is responsible for ensuring organization’s ICT infrastructure supports the current and future needs of the organisation.

This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of organization’s ICT service and resources and will manage relationships with external contractors, which currently include an outsourced provider of IT helpdesk and technology services.

This role is primarily responsible for managing:

  • The development and implementation of organization’s ICT strategy
  • All information and communication technologies across the organization
  • The provision and maintenance of staff ICT assets and systems access
  • Onsite ICT technical support, to complement the external IT helpdesk
  • The development and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans relating to ICT
  • Information security and governance protocols and procedures, including responding to suspected or actual breaches
  • Contract management and engagement of all external ICT providers and suppliers
  • ICT projects
  • Internal and external ICT stakeholders
  • Assets registers
  • Risks associated with ICT

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will need to have demonstrated the following:

  • Extensive experience managing ICT within a medium-size not-for-profit setting
  • Experienced in leading a team and managing significant suppliers
  • Experience developing long-term organisational-wide ICT strategies and implementing them successfully
  • Experience in ICT project management
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and practices related to data governance, security, and privacy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; understands and manages the needs and expectations of stakeholders, staff and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and Aboriginal community needs
  • Must pass a Criminal Police Record Check
  • Must pass & provide copy of Working with Children’s Check
  • Must hold current full Victorian Drivers Licence and provide a copy
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Must pass an Employment History check; and
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof.
