APG Workforce is a national employer of choice supplying a flexible workforce to industries who promote safety and wellbeing as priorities.
Our client, a market leader in the Poultry Industry is looking for a suitably experienced Administration person to aid in the day-to-day management of one of the region’s largest employers and manufactures.
The successful applicant will be offered a minimum hourly rate of $30/ hour, more dependent on, qualifications, and experience.

The successful applicants will be able to work 38hours per week in a full time permanent position.


  • Authorised to raise purchase orders to the value of $500 – not requiring electronic approval
  • Raising purchase order over $500 under appropriate authorisation only
  • Communicate with customers, contractors and other businesses as permitted under the scope of the position limits
  • Assist administration staff across Livestock as required
  • Broiler Driver’s Training
  • Broiler Manager’s Training
  • Maintaining multiply register (excel mainly)
  • Booking Heavy Vehicle inspections (Livestock)

Highly regarded if your familiar in the use of SAGE & PMTS programs

Extra Duties: may be required to fill a skills gap for a short time.

  • Backup for PMTS Helpdesk, all Livestock Administration and WHS resource.
  • Uploading Documents in the ELO
  • Contractor Register
  • Contractor Inductions
  • Incident register
  • Auditing

Essential skills and Experience:

  • Experience in handling Customer complaint highly desirable
  • Experience with Food Safety and Quality Assurance
  • Previous experience using payroll software (Kronos highly desirable)
  • Process driven with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to interpret Awards and EA provisions
  • Background in Poultry Processing/Food Manufacturing an advantage but not essential
  • Certificate 3 in Business Administration
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
  • A solid understanding of SQF, HACCP, and WHS
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to give instruction when required & to maintain records.
