Manager - People & Culture
The purpose of the Manager - People and Culture (P&C) is to develop and execute the Mt Rawdon vision and strategy relating to People and Culture, in collaboration with the Site Leadership Team and other internal and external stakeholders, to maximise the engagement and performance of our team. The role also includes providing advice and support to the leaders on site regarding P&C activities and processes, including performance management, employment policy & practices people development, and recruitment & retention.

Develop and execute vision and strategy
Coach, guide and support your team to enable an environment of high achievement
Lead strategic workforce planning
Provide advice to the Site Leadership Team
Actively promote continuous improvement in areas of accountability and more broadly across the business, as and when identified
Location: Mt Rawdon, QLD.

About the role
The Manager - People & Culture strategically partners with team leaders to ensure optimised team design and delivery, helping leaders to set up their teams for success.
Some of the key result areas in this role may include:

Advise on the performance management processes including role description drafting, KPI setting, identifying high potentials and the effective conducting of performance feedback to employees to support performance achievement across the business.
Advise management, supervisors and employees on Industrial Relations (IR) impacts including HR policy, common law employment contracts, and employee relations activities to ensure awareness and effective risk management.
Provide inputs and analysis for P&C monthly reports to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of operational performance data and analysis.

About you
To drive success in this position you will have at least 5-8 years HR experience ideally gained in a dynamic and challenging environment. It is also important that you have / can demonstrate:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar.
Experience in development and negotiating an EBA.
Knowledge of HR practices, organisational development and change initiatives.
Sound experience with ER/IR and workforce planning.
Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations.
Strategic, creative and logical thinking.
