This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Care Professional, to join our Medical Information Team.

What You Will Achieve
  • Handle medical information inquiries received from any MI channel according to global and local policies and work instructions. That includes researching and preparing responses for customer inquiries, providing the responses to external customers documenting them in the inquiry and content management system.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and balanced responses, in accordance with approved resources, and escalated properly when approved resources are not available.
  • Establishing collaborative relations with team members and supervisor to gather relevant information and develop responses for questions in order to meet customer needs.
  • Propose, develops, trains and implements the use of the answer guidelines that are required for Pfizer and related to Pfizer products according to the country requirements.
  • Create, gather and keep up-to-date Standard Resources according to MI/Pfizer processes and local policies.
  • Review data and develop reports in order to actively communicate inquiry volumes, discuss trends, operational efficiency-performance and customer insights with Medical Information Managers or stakeholders.
  • Actively contribute to MI projects, channels and digital initiatives, assessing potential risks and benefits, monitoring impact and success of initiatives and ensuring proper maintenance of channels and services offered.
  • Operate in high standards of quality; complete all assigned training within specified timelines and comply with all relevant Corporate, Global, Regional, and Local procedures.
  • Identify and handle potential adverse events and/or product complaints if identified while processing a medical information inquiry according to applicable procedures.

Qualifications

Must Have
  • Health Care Professional with a track record of providing medical information, patient counselling or drug information to healthcare professionals and patients. Registered Pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work 9-5 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time to service a customer contact centre in both an office environment with flexibility of suitable home office environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (required).
  • Initiative, proactivity and autonomy to work independently and collaborate in a virtual work environment
  • Strong data entry skills and use of customer relationship management and content management tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, virtual working tools

Nice-to-Have
  • Proficiency in Asian languages primarily spoken in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines
  • Good understanding of biomedical searching, literature evaluation, medical writing and summarising clinical data
