We have an excellent opportunity for a proactive, driven professional to become a part of the Cessnock Kurri Kurri Occupational Therapy team, based at Cessnock District Hospital as well as also be part of the wider Lower Hunter Sector Occupational Therapy team.
About the role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the outpatient paediatric caseload based at Cessnock District Hospital. This position will involve assessment and therapy of children aged 0 to 18 and will be in collaboration with the paediatric Occupational Therapist based at Kurri Kurri District Hospital. You will also provide support to the wider Cessnock Kurri Kurri generalist department. This position will report to the Site Senior Occupational Therapist based at Cessnock District Hospital. Supervision will be provided via the line manager and peer support provided by the Occupational Therapist at Kurri Kurri District Hospital and other paediatric Occupational Therapists within Lower Hunter Sector.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and evidenced based in their approach to assessment and management of the paediatric population. You will have experience in an outpatient paediatric setting and possess excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills as well as be an active member of the team.
