Ballarat Health Services is the largest regional hospital in the Grampians region. Ballarat Health Services employs over 4,000 staff to ensure optimum care is provided for all patients, families and visitors. The Central Allocations Unit supplies staff to Acute, Sub-Acute, and Residential Services.

The Central Allocations Unit is seeking applications from certificate qualified Personal Care Workers to join the Ballarat Health Services Casual Bank, working across Acute, Sub-Acute and Residential sites. Applicants must have completed: Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant equivalent), including the unit Assist clients With Medication and hold the ’HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Handling Practices’.

The casual bank is managed by the Central Allocations Unit which operates 7 days a week. Ballarat Health Services uses an electronic rostering system (RosterOn) which matches staff for shifts based on their availabilities, employee skills / qualifications and preference of location. Shifts are offered by text / phone call based on availabilities entered into RosterOn.

Our casual bank shifts are offered within short time frames, therefore to be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region.
