48 Hours per fortnight
Ballarat Health Services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Personal Care Worker at Eureka Village Hostel. We are a 45 bed residential aged care home taking pride in caring for elderlies from day one. A private room equipped with a dining setting facilitates residents and families to catch up for meals. Our staff assist residents keep in touch with their family and friends via skype, video calls, etc. As a team we have been doing a tremendrous job by providing clincial and personal care that is exclusively tailored to meet each clients requirement. Wide range of menu choices, Indoor and outdoor actvities, Bus trips, movie nights, bowling, lunches at some of the best restaurants in town, happy hour, music and dance concerts, etc are only some of the examples of person centred care that we have achieved over the years.
Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to learn and must demonstrate competence in the following behaviours and qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Care Management Certificate III or IV in Residential Aged Care
- Successful attainment of HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication
- Successful attainment of HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practise and service delivery to our clients and their families within Eureka Village Hostel.
