Job Description

  • Collaborates with strategic sourcing teams to support the development of Category Management strategies, then executes those strategies and best practice, across multiple spend categories of accountability, in the cluster, delivering value aligned to business objectives.
  • Supports organizational change management efforts in cluster in support of Global Procurement process and system continuous improvement initiatives. Accounts for cultural and organizational specifics to assess readiness for change and overcome any barriers to change. Seeks opportunities to optimise processes and develop Procurement understanding across the business.
    Drives procurement policy and process understanding and compliance.
  • Maintains relationships with and understanding of local supply base, providing insight to global Procurement supplier segmentation strategy.
  • Executes negotiations for local contracts in order to meet regional and global financial targets, while supporting cluster business objectives. Manages contract performance delivery with stakeholders, mitigating risk of business interruption proactively, seeking opportunities to collaboratively extract value.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5 years + Procurement experience
  • Excellent communication/stakeholder management skills
  • In-directs/IT sourcing experience
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Immediately available to interview/start
