This is a pretty unique opportunity to join one of our large hospitals in Melbourne. This role has a view of back-filling the Manager ICT Contracts & Vendors in the coming years, hence looking for someone who wants to step up to this managerial position.

It will start of as a 2-year FT opportunity and is responsible to support and streamline Digital Technology contracts and related procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collation of data for all contracts and assets that may be migrated as part of a business merger
  • Procure Digital Technology capabilities in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Facilitate the recording all new purchases
  • Create reports from the Service Management platform to track the life of each asset, including working with the Finance Department to provide necessary details to support the Finance Asset Register and internal audits that will contribute to the annual Procurement Plan and Capital Asset Management Plan
  • Assist in the financial activities of the Division
  • Contribute to the business improvement activities particularly as relevant to your skill area

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline(s) such as business, supply chain or finance
  • Experience writing business cases and papers for board
  • Demonstrated experience in asset and procurement management activities
  • Well-developed business analyst skills
  • General knowledge of the IT environment in business
  • Knowledge and understanding of government procurement practices
  • Financial management knowledge
