Your new company
Hays Construction is working in partnership with a renowned construction company, based in Canberra, specialising in large multi-residential projects. This role is ideal for you if you are a Senior Project Manager looking for the opportunity to deliver a high-end project with a balance of close support from Construction Manager and autonomy to run the project your way.

Your new role
As Project Manager you will be initially responsible for the commercial and operational delivery of a project valued over $40 million, based in Canberra, due to commence 2022. You will:

• Ensuring the project is running on time and within budget;
• Work closely with and reporting to the Construction Manager;
• You will be responsible for continuing a positive, professional and driven working culture on-site;
• Continually motivate and engage with your team.

Some of your other responsibilities will involve; ensuring quality assurance, estimating, ensuring work Health and Safety compliance on-site.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous Project Manager experience;
• A proven track record of delivering a number of large multi-residential projects;
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and certificates;
• Strong communication to a range of stakeholders;
• You will have a strong sense of teamwork and be highly motivated in order to drive your project.
