Right now, we have one temporary 2 year position available for an experienced Project Manager in our Customer Operations, Delivery Infrastructure team to lead the end to end delivery of successful wayfinding projects.
Transport for NSW is delivering a new integrated approach to wayfinding and signage for the NSW transport network. The new signage provides consistent and easy-to-follow visual messages. We have already rolled out the new signage in most of our stations, as Project Manager you will take on the end-to-end management of the progressive upgrade of station precincts across the network.
What you will be involved in:
- Planning and delivery of Wayfinding projects
- Stakeholder management to ensure appropriate consultations and governance checks are undertaken
- Manage key milestones with internal and external stakeholders including, design, engineering, production, installation and completion

You are a proactive and hands on ‘seasoned’ Project Manager with demonstrated ability in delivering projects on time, on budget, on quality with a strong background in stakeholder management and outcome focus. You will have significant experience managing and delivering customer experience or customer service projects. You take a human-centered design approach to all aspects of project management and stakeholder engagement.
You are a seasoned Project Manager with solid experience managing the end-to-end delivery of diverse range of projects predominantly wayfinding projects in a rail environment. Your strong project management experience will enable you to manage negotiations with key internal and external stakeholders and coordinate effective solutions in response to concerns, issues and recommendations for each project.
- Relevant tertiary level qualifications or demonstrated equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in contractor evaluation and management.
- Proven experience delivering projects on time, on budget and to scope.
- Experience in full end to end solution delivery, including business change.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is RC Grade 6 ($127,559 - $141,442) plus superannuation and leave loading.
