About The Client:

This national pump and hydraulic solutions company started from grass roots here in QLD is now seeking an Account Manager / BDM to be based on the ground here in Rockhampton and look after clients across the region.

Their customer base consists of repairers, resellers and OEM’s throughout Australia across mining, agriculture, industrial, manufacturing and water management.

About The Role:

You will work across the Mackay region and will be backed by staff who have a strong engineering capability and decades of experience in the industry. You will poses a strong ability to chase both new sales and expand on existing relationships.

To be successful:

• Strong mechanical aptitude but mechanical trade qualification preferred
• Experience selling hydraulic systems, pumps is essential
• Be technically minded and have worked within a technical space within the mechanical industry sector
• Internal or external sales experience in an industrial setting preferred
• Customer service focus
• Drive to achieve sales results
• Highly motivated and able to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Sound computer skills
• Be a true team player
