Chandler Macleod are partnering with our highly sought after Federal Government client to engage a Recruitment Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract based in Tuggeranong.

Working as part of a high performing team you will provide administrative support, advice and guidance to candidates and hiring managers to ensure that effective recruitment outcomes are achieved.

Key Duties include:

  • Coordinate end to end recruitment processes, including reviewing job descriptions, preparing gazette notices
  • Provide advice and guidance to recruiting managers, selection committees, candidates and liaise with other government agencies.
  • Undertake work through a positional mailbox and agency help line to answer general queries and advice.
  • Escalate complex issues.
  • Assist with updating intranet pages, task cards and other team documentation.

The successful applicant will posses:

  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Government recruitment processes.
