SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Our client located in Welshpool now requires the services of Safety and Compliance officer for its Cold Storage facility.

The role will support a best practice safety culture by developing and implementing site specific target safety programmes, collect and collate safety data and produce reports to support safety initiatives. The role will also ensure the site complies with internal and external food safety and compliance requirements.

ESSENTIAL

• 2 years plus experience in a similar role (industry experience is preferable)
• Qualifications in Safety, Auditing or related disciplines
• Good knowledge of the workplace, health and safety legislation, food safety practices and principles
• Good knowledge of CoR and quality management systems
• Experience with implementing safety procedures, product safety, quality in line with legislation
• Experience in conducting operational risk assessments
• Experience with supporting or conducting internal and external audits
• Accreditation in workplace training qualifications is desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service, problem solving and influencing skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Strong teamwork focus
