School Learning Support Officer

Yanco Agricultural High School is seeking a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO). The position will be for 4 days per week for 2022 with the chance of extension. Hours will be 8.30am to 3.30pm.

Duties: School Learning Support Officer provides support for students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms and other learning environments under the direction and supervision of a teacher to support the achievement of educational outcomes.

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional working relationship with students, parents and staff
• Demonstrated experience in supporting all students with their learning in the classroom and the school community
• Demonstrated capacity to use initiative and work closely as part of a team.
• Demonstrated capacity to be well prepared and to communicate regularly about a child’s progress to a supervisor.

Double Vaccination Certificate

An expression of interest including a covering letter and addressing the criteria of no more than 2 pages in length should be submitted to the School Administration Manager
