Primary purpose of the role
The successful applicant will be part of a team implementing industry leading systems and applications to collect and manage information. You will be key in leading the provision of development, support and maintenance of end-user applications to collect and manage project and contract information. In this role, you will ensure continuous improvement in the way information is managed. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to integrate advanced analytics capabilities into project information systems to deliver actionable recommendations to projects. To do this successfully, you will:
- Drive change across the portfolio through the provision of relevant, accurate accessible and credible information and analysis which supports both the vision for Analytics and Systems and the development of customer focussed change strategies, programs, and initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of programs to enhance project information systems and applications.
- Minimise bespoke application development and capitalise on industry leading technology solutions that support infrastructure project delivery.
- Manage end-user support including development and maintenance of user guides, application training packages, call triage, adherence to SLAs, defect logging and escalation and application performance monitoring.
- You will lead the development and documentation of user stories and functional requirements based on stakeholder needs and subsequent translation into technical requirements to inform application development.
- Perform end-to-end development and delivery of cloud applications including associated application integration and stakeholder management.
- Develop, document, and maintain operational processes, procedures, release notes and guides for the support function for end-user applications

About you
You will have proven experience in working in a fast-paced Analytics and Technology environment, with evidence of delivering significant and measurable incremental value to organisations through cloud and on premise solutions. This includes good knowledge and experience in relational database technology and SQL and sound experience in the provision of end-user support, gathering and translating business requirements and defect management and escalation.
You will also possess sound understanding of data modelling for analytics and BI reporting as well as understanding and experience in programming languages and frameworks such as C#, Java, html, .Net etc. Some experience and skills in cloud computing (including development of native applications) and associated technologies is desirable.
The successful candidate will also have appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience and a minimum 10 years’ experience in provision of end-user applications and associated technologies in large organisations.

Salary and Benefits
