This actively expanding Construction Company has a wealth of expertise in all areas of construction projects in the residential, commercial and Industrial space across Sydney and the Wollongong region. Due to exponential growth, we are looking to bring on the expertise of a seasoned Site Manager to take on various multi-unit projects currently underway and due to commence.
The company Director also wears the hat of Senior Construction manager. He has nearly thirty years’ experience in the industry with both developing and building. He is down to earth, very easy to communicate with and has a vision of exceeding his client’s needs through the relationships he has with his team. He understands it takes many hands to make light work likes to utilise innovation to maximise time efficiency.
The company culture is based on team work with the various divisions of the business working in unison to meet business objectives. The Directors are hands on in the business but have their focus on other areas. This role is considered a Senior Management position where your thoughts and experience will be taken on board when making business decisions. There is also a strong focus on Health and Safety with a "no cutting corners" approach.
Career Advancement and Promotions
The company is in growth mode so there is a lot of potential for the role to develop over time. With your experience and insights, the role will evolve over time. You will be able to take on a more senior role and build your team underneath you.
The bulk of the work is completed during standard hours Monday to Friday. Work / life balance is promoted so Saturday mornings are limited to alternate weekends and only when required to meet a deadline. As in all Site management roles, when there is a need to be on deck, you will need to be on deck however, giving up every weekend is not expected.
Salary and Financial Stability
The business has been operating for 30+ years and has evolved to have numerous divisions servicing the industry. A base Salary between $150-$180K + Super + Vehicle can be negotiated based on experience and your vision for the business.

* Building Industry experience or knowledge 5 years plus desired
* Proven track record in supervision of multi-unit block projects
* Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project
* Proven experience in effectively managing, leading and mentoring staff
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to follow through/deliver on team objectives
* Advanced time management skills, ensuring projects run on schedule
* Strong attention to detail
* Demonstrated safety and environment knowledge & experience
* A current Australian drivers licence
* Relevant building qualification
* General Construction Induction Card/White Card
* Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
