What could you bring to HealthShare NSW? We’re looking for a Site Supervisor to lead and manage the Food Services department at Hornsby Hospital $71,496.64 per annum, 38 hours per week.

You will be responsible for providing direction to staff and managing operational activities to ensure our services are effective, innovative, responsive and customer-focused. You will also work to build a positive team culture and a collaborative team environment.

This is a Full Time Permanent position graded as a General Admin Grade 8 with an annual salary of $71,496.64 (Excl. 10% superannuation). Location, Hornsby Hospital.

How to apply
During the application process, you will be required to attach your resume and provide answers to the Targeted Questions below. You must ensure your answers make reference to all of the Essential Requirements listed in the Position Description prior to submitting your application.

  • Experience in the operations and management of food and patient support services in a large complex organisation and relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, including well developed people management skills and communication and engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve business outcomes, including the flexibility to adapt to changing role requirements as the organisation develops and expands
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Window based programs, such as Word and Excel and ability to use electronic devices.

Vaccination Requirements
This is a NSW Health Category A position, which requires immunisation against the following:

  • Whooping Cough
  • Hepatitis B
  • Measles / Mumps / Rubella
  • Chicken Pox
  • Screening for Tuberculosis

If you have any current evidence of vaccination against these, upload them with your application. Your current vaccination status will not impact your application. If you are the preferred candidate, you will be responsible for covering the costs of any remaining vaccination requirements. For more information read the NSW Health OASV Policy.

If you are the preferred candidate, you will also need to complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment, with costs covered by HealthShare NSW.
