A resort style hotel located close to the city and 2km from the airport. Set lakeside across 11 acres of lush tropical gardens, the hotel offers 162 spacious, well-appointed rooms, with views across the lake or pool or through the gardens. Guests staying at this contemporary Townsville hotel are within easy reach of the city’s sporting and cultural attractions, its many restaurants and shops, the Flinders Street entertainment precinct and the Strand development.
As a Sous Chef, your day-to-day duties will include assisting the Exec Chef in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, ensuring that meals are of high quality and prepared in a professional manner along monitoring younger kitchen staff.
Skills & Attributes
- 2 years previous experience as Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and effective communication skills
- Ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure
- Excellent work ethic and highly motivated
- Passion for, and a sense of pride in your work
