Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an engaging, passionate and driven individual to join the Gold Coast Team as a Team Leader Trainingfor JobLab. JobLab is ETC’s non-accredited training program and includesCareer Transition Assistance (CTA). This is a full-time rolewith the added benefit of a monthly accrued day off (ADO).Regular travel will be required across the Gold Coast region.
Leverage your previous experience in training to coordinate and facilitate a range of non-accredited training programs while coaching and developing your team. The programs focus on career coaching, i.e. helping customers to develop their confidence, capability and employability skills to assist them in securing ongoing, sustainable employment.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who thrives in a team environment and has demonstrable experience coaching and managing a high-performing team! This role is all about developing relationships with people from diverse backgrounds to help them find their strengths and build capability. You need a high level of emotional intelligence, sound mediation and negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport or have a conversation with anyone. A strong track-record in training delivery and administration is essential combined with the ability to mentor and coach your team to meet their objectives. Ideally you have an endorsed qualification in Professional Career Development and/or Careers Industry Council of Australia (CICA) registration, or are willing to obtain it as part of your role.
Essential experience, qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience managing a high-performing team
- Demonstrated experience in training delivery and administration
- Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment - TAE40116 or equivalent
- A recent, clear National Police Check
- A current Working With Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel between different ETC sites
