Your new role
As the Lead, Workers Compensation Claims you will effectively lead a high-performing team of claims consultants to manage a portfolio of claims in the WCRS Supported and Specialised claims segments.
You will be responsible for managing the team’s workflow and coaching to ensure that they deliver an exceptional customer service experience to our insured and internal and external stakeholders. With a strong focus on strategic claims and financial risk management, the team plays a pivotal role in the optimisation of health outcomes for injured workers with more complex claims, which mutually benefits IAG, our policy holders and key stakeholder groups.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience in successfully coaching, leading and developing a team
  • A record of success in managing technical complex claims, preferably in Workers Compensation
  • Proven ability to effectively build and manage relationships with business partners
  • Demonstrable experience building and maintaining broker relationships
  • Ability to motivate individuals to achieve divisional goals in an uplifting and collaborative style
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, e.g. Law, Insurance, Health would be highly regarded
