Army’s Directorate of Land Training Capability is responsible for the coordination, governance and provision of the Land training Environment. This EL1 Workforce and Governance position is an important role in coordinating, planning and supporting the current and future Land Training Capability functions.
An ideal candidate will have excellent coordination skills, the ability to communicate with influence, be able to work with a group of teams delivering a diverse range of modern training systems.
A key component of the EL1 Workforce and Governance role is the coordination and supervision of contracting services as well as the financial management of the Directorate. Experience with Defence resource systems is of advantage, but training can be provided for an ideal candidate if required.
About our Team
If successful you will be working as part of a small team within the Land Capability Division. You will form close relationships with team leads, supporting workforce and governance requirements. You will also work closely with other program governance staff as part of the financial and governance framework. This external working environment provides an excellent platform to understand how Land Capability operates while still being part of a close knit team.
Our Ideal Candidate
An ideal candidate is someone who can work to the Director of Land Training Capability with little supervision and identify emerging work without direction. You would be a people person. Someone who is able to communicate with all levels and understand where your role adds value in the Directorate.
